LP10 rake induced trigger guard finger scraping

I adjusted the rake on my LP10, now the alignment is perfect with my eyes closed, hold for count of 10, and alignment remained perfect.

But the rake has moved the bottom of my trigger guard up, too. My trigger finger is scraping along the trigger guard.

It actually worked as a good indicator for my finger placement on the trigger. But the feeling, or should I say, the DISTRACTION, is bothering me.

It has not affect shooting result yet. Any comment.

If you are sure you have the "Perfect" grip, just cut/grind the offending bit out the way!

Perhaps you can remove 1-2mm of wood in the grip to seat the pistol lower, thus moving your trigger finger a higher and away from the guard.

Isn't the trigger guard removeable with one Allen screw?

Not on the LP10 or any other Steyr for that matter...

If you have that much rake, be sure your sights aren't bottoming out on the top of the grip.

No, but a hacksaw will work.
