Trigger guard on 50m pistol

Post by brakarzac »

is it required to have a trigger guard for a 50m pistol?

I have the Hammerli 160 and would like to remove the surfboard beneath to reduce weight, and as I cant find anyone who stocks the 160 special conversion parts, it will mean that I no longer have a trigger guard.

Can this be done, if not can someone provide the ISSF rule that prohibits the non fitting of a trigger guard.

Cheers
Brad

Nah, no problemo.

Besides, I got my "special" parts directly from Walther, about a year ago. Fast and friendly, though not cheap :-)
