Grunig Revolution II stock?

does anyone know much about it and how it compares to the revolution III?

As far as I know they are both the same, except that the RS III has rubber anti vibration balls under the action adaptor and the plastic handstop rail holder. Also I think they only do nylon cheekpieces now, I know the RS and RS II you could get laminated timber ones.

Are there any bedding issues with these stocks. I have the 2213 stock and it a really great stock, but I find it temperamental finding the torque setting that will produce nice groups.

RSII was single shot only. RSIII can be made to accept repeater actions. Also, RSIII is only clear anodized, whereas RSII was available in blue or black.

From what I've read elsewhere - one of the issues with the 20 series action could be that if you torque the front right bedding bolt too high as it can effect the bolts clamping the barrel in the action (and hence the accuracy)...

I've seen it suggested that 5 Nm is about the limit for that one bolt whereas the others can be torqued higher.
