F-1 chrony will work fine for this; as well as rimfire and centerfire rounds.

ps: If you use indoors, as I do with airguns, you will likely have to add some additional lighting above the translucent barriers to get good readings.

CED M2 Chronograph System with infra-red screens, might be a little bulky and time consuming to setup but no problems afterwards.

(I have the older version with the IR screens, .177-.338 Lapua and works well... The IR screens are useful at night too.)

+1 on the Combro. If you like detail and can shoot through it's little hoops, it's great. I've had mine for what? 8+ years.
