I am considering acquiring one of these trainers but would like to better understand what each one is best designed for. Thanks for all informed posts.

As you've posted this in the Pistol section I would suggest that you might not want to use Noptel. Its gun mounted unit is heavier than Scatt or Rika.

Scatt or Rika? You will get fans of both; they will both do a good job for you.

You should remember however that they are not magic, they cannot tell you what you are doing wrong. All that they can tell you is where the gun is pointing during the shot process. The difficult part comes in interpreting the data provided.

One additional factor in considering which to buy (other than weight as David mentioned), is support and experience where you are. It's better for example if you can get a system others you know use and can help you with as it can make use and data interpretation easier.

Do a search on here as they have all been discussed in quite some detail previously.
