Manurhin MR32 front sight width

Post by A74BEDLM »

Does anyone know if you can get narrower front sights for these pistols?
Mine came (second hand) with a 3.5mm front sight but I have virtually no gap and rear sight width not adjustable.

Also anyone know suppliers of barrel weights?
1000g trigger springs?

Have emailed Chapuis Armes but no response.

A Swiss or chain saw file would take care of that rear gap. A 3/16" chain file (very cheap) is the easiest (and I think best if you're not handy with tools) way to fix your problem.

I kind of like the half moon rear notch because the front sight "climbs" the side of the notch when misaligned. I've had others tell they "can't handle" it or "don't like" it. It HAS to be just as accurate because you're only looking at the top of the sights.

I use both.

No need for '1000' gram spring - trigger weight is adjustable on these revolvers.

Just found a review that was translated - seems different fixed rear sight blades available rather then different front sights.

Just need an english manual now.

If this is a Manurhin MR73 Match (in .32) with the extended rear sight, then interchangable front sights and rear blades are available.
If it is the standard model then no they are not removable.
The trigger can be reduced to about 1100g reliably but down to 1000g may need a gunsmith to get a reliable trigger reset or return.
