Pardini magazine compatibility

Post by DukeShooter »

Is there someone out there that can verify if a .22 long rifle magazine for a Pardini SP will fit in a GP (the .22 short gun)?

Thanks in advance,

It will fit in the frame if that's what you mean.

But, the .22 short barrel breech face is in a different place so the barrel will have to be changed more than just rechambering if that's what you are planning.

It's been a while since I was forced to sell my GP (thanks ISSF), but from memory the loading ramp is part of the plastic spacer at the front of the GP mag which is why the breech face is further back.

Yep that's what I was thinking sounds not too workable (unlike the Walther OSP). If it's a matter of just removing metal from the breach face I can do that in my lathe though. Moving the breech face forward and rechambering is definitely in my machine shop vocabulary.
