What could be the problem?

Hello my friends!
As I am trying to improve my techique,I kind of do a lot of SCATT in order to see my mistakes.

My problem in prone(where tings are more solid for me) during the shot release, while everything is on the 10 ring(green, yellow lines)the shot lands at 9 ring, sometimes at 8...

Is it my trigger release?(Ihave it set at "silly" light settings...)

That sounds like the F-factor is set too high - from what I understand, this adds in a displacement related to the speed that the muzzle is moving at the instant of release.
For example, if the trace is moving right to left as you shoot, the (virtual) bullet will adopt that movement and be displaced to 9 o'clock- quite possibly outside the hold pattern. I think SCATT has a graph of speed vs time so you can see if that is happening.

If you don't get that happening when you're live firing, it's likely that the f-factor is set too high.
The real solution is to focus on shooting during the still moment (if you can see it) or trying to find a way of damping out these fast movements through position, diet, balance of the rifle, jacket, relaxation etc. etc.

I'm assuming the system is working and that you're getting the same results in live fire (If you're not, then blame the system). Focus some extra mental energy on the part of your shot routine where you sit on the first stage of the trigger, check your inner position, then focus on sight picture and relaxation as you squeeze off the shot slowly. Adding a bit of weight to the second stage of your trigger may be beneficial here. I've noticed one or two weird shots lately where I flinched shots into the nine and eight with a tic in the shoulder. I was going through the trigger in one movement, which was the biggest part of the problem. I don't have access to an electronic trainer, so all this is live fire. Since I've been drilling that good habit into myself, things are improving. A solid zero position and a good release is giving centre tens, consistently, and more consistent recoil patterns too. Worth trying if you ask me.

Hello Kenny and Dave!

I leave the F factor as it is(for 50m, default is around 25 from what I remember,45 for 10m air)

I can't say that this doesn't happens in live shooting...
When it happens, I understand it from the recoil movement and it mostly happens cause of inconcistent butt placing to the shoulder(yea, sorry for my Greeklish...) and therefore different recoil patterns.

But Scatt doesn't has recoil...
I try to squize the trigger gently and the same way every time but when this happens,I just can't understand it...
I think that I'll try to post a string of shots when this happens to see it yourselves.

Ok,here is my update.

First,I'd like to correct my self and say that the default F coefficient
(I hope Kenny that this is what you ment with the F factor, not the L factor) setting for 50m is around 80.
I lowered it to 50 and I spent some time on the trigger weight setting.
I also focused in trigger release.
Problem was solved with a 591 score(I usually hit around 580 on Scatt and live shooting)
Thank's Kenny and Dave!

Turn OFF the F factor and focus on your hold only! focus on what your average trace length is and also what your average shot value is. For me on a good day I will have a trace length of about 30mm and a shot value avg of about 10.5.
Once you can start shooting 600s every time you could then start working on shot timing by turning the f factor up a little bit. this will force you to shoot only in the stillest part of the hold. It will also train you to shoot inbetween the heart beats.

Hello Matt!
Next time I'll shoot prone,I'll do it.
Today's schedule has kneeling(don't have much time...)
I remember that you have mentioned it again.
I'll give it a try in kneeling.

p.s. snap caps or fired cases?(for the .22)
Thank you!

I used fired cases. Then I bought a dry firing pin. Best 50 bucks ive ever spent. just have to remember to change it before you shoot again. I colored my firing pin with a red sharpie and my dry firing pin with a black one so I can tell the difference by just looking.,
