I have a chance to buy one in excellent condition for approx $900. How does it compare to the 208 and what is it really worth dollar wise? Thanks.

Jerry, I just passed on an unfired 207.

I consulted some BE board members and was advised to check to see if any 208, 215 or other mags would work...........if I were to use it for BE as it only had one mag.

This has the longer sight radius, near Olympic max, which may or may not be a plus to you. I decided that mine, w/o a box, tools, or spares and only one mag was not going to be worth nearly $1K. But just a personal choice for my intended use.

Fjestad's blue book listed it, in 2008, as 100% = $725.

Just some things to ponder and see how it fits your intended end use.

If you get it, tell us how you like it, balance and all.

Thanks for the info. Doesn't sound promising from my perspective.
