Another "Plug" for 10 meter airpistol "e-matc

A member recently shared about the on-line "e-matches" for 10 meter air pistol (and air rifle) at the "Airgun Arena" site, and I wanted to second his motion! This is a painless way to sharpen your competitive shooting at home, and they even supply the targets by download. If you don't have a full 10 meters for your range at home, this match will allow you to use a reduced target/distance (5 meter, 6 meter, 7.5 meter). It is all on the honor system. You have three e-matches to choose from and posting your score is a cinch. There are 20/20 matches (twenty shots in twenty minutes), 40/40, and 60/60. There are 2 matches per month for the 20/20 e-match, and only a few people are shooting regularly. I discovered that just knowing I was shooting competition dropped my scores substantially, and it was good to know how vital the psychological aspect of shooting is! I'm unable to travel to the "shoulder to shoulder" meets, if I could find one, so this is one of the few competitions in which i can participate. It is an easy way to enjoy our typically "lone-wolf" sport even more fully than we normally do. I hear that "Pyramid Air", the sponsoring group, even hands out awards for the top shooters! So, all you have to do is go on-line with your computer, type in "Airgun Arena", go to the site and click on "e-matches" on the left-hand side of the web-page, and it will lead you through the painless process! Hope to see more of our airgun shooting fraternity posting scores soon. (Might be good for rimfire and centerfire guys, too, if they have a good air pistol.)
