I have practiced dry fire on white wall at close range for awhile.

But when I shoot with target, all those dry fire practice did not seem to help much.

Should I practice with a target the size of front sight attached to the wall, or continue practice dry fire on blank wall?

Dry fire on blank wall, concentrate on the front sight, just seem too easy. It has yet to help me in real shooting facing a real target.

every dry practice must have a goal.

example :

1. I dry practice to train my trigger pull, so I don't have draw black spot on wall, just aim on white wall watch your Front sight pull the trigger and see where My front sight move. If it doesn't move than i achieve my goal.

2. I dry practice for train my pistol holding, so i draw small spot on wall equal size with my front sight stand close enough to wall and raise my gun hold it for few second and maintenance front sight small movement around the small spot.

and so on.
