I have been looking at the colored push-fit rings for rear iris. Part of the description reads:
-centrally focus eye line and sight picture
-ensures head presentation to the sight is consistent, shot after shot
Does anybody use these and do they provide good benefit?
Thanks

I use these on my .22 and air rifle. I find that the color does help me to keep my eye aligned with the rear sight. I use green for air rifle and yellow for .22

Thanks talladega for the info. I think I will give them a try and see how it works out.

Talladega, Just out of curiousity, do you think it's specifically the yellow and green colors, or would any color do?

It all depends on your own eyes and the lighting where you shoot as for what will work best for you.
I have very poor eyesight and spent a while swapping the different rings and filters on and off my guns and green and yellow is just what I happened to think worked the best.
On my air rifle depending on the range I can't see the colored ring too well but the green filter helps a lot. But on my .22 the yellow ring is very visible and the yellow filter helps as well.
I don't think there are any specific colors that will be good for everyone. Though if you are having a trouble centering your eye with your rear sight a bright-colored ring would probably help the most.
