Anywhere to shoot near Orlando/Florida?

Hi all,

Will be visiting Orlando in a couple of weeks with my family - from the UK. Just wondering if there is any advice on where a visitor could enjoy some shooting.

I am an experienced former international shooter, but have not shot pistol since the handgun ban of 97. Been to Orlando before and was not too impressed with the look of some "commercial" ranges - seem to be full of tourists just blasting away with worn-out Glock's.

Hoping to enjoy some nostalgia on a decent range - would be grateful if anyone has a suggestion?

USA Shooting is the home of the US Olympic team and they sanction many meets nationally, do a search here:

NRA is an American Association and they also sanction many competitions, see if you find something of your liking

All these clubs listed through both associations are private, and they don't have guns for rent like a commercial range does, so talk to them ahead of time and see what develops.
