N320 & .32 S&W Long
Using a Pardini HP New can any body provide succesful load data using VV N320 and .312 98gn HBWC. I have successfully used N310 and WST, but have been unable to find data for N320.
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance
My advice would be that 310 is better to use in .32 S&WL

N320 and .32 S&W Long
The reason is merely lack of supply that occurs from time to time with both N310 and WST. I'm just looking for a possible alternative.David Levene wrote:Out of interest, if you've successfully used N310 & WST, why are you thinking of using N320?
VV N320 (Three Twenty)
Greetings,
I test my barrels with 1.70 grains of VV N320 (three-twenty) with both Speer and H&N HBWC bullets. Expect velocity to be in the range of 725FPS.

N320 powder .32 Pardini
Thanks for the recommend re N320.. I have a bunch of it and have just acquired a new pardini .32 to go along with my .22. In process of getting bullets and brass. Will be using both Hertinberger and lapua. Is that 1.7 grains of N320 at 725 fps considered a slightly hot target load compared to say 1.5-1.6 of either W231 or bullseye. Also for anyones info the small powder bar on my 550 dillon will throw N320 down to 1.5 grains consistantly. I thought I might have to get the exrra small bar but appears not.
I us N320 for my HP loads---I use fed primers, 1.2 gr. N320 and 100g DEWC and Rem brass. I had to get the mini bar for the 550B and a micrometer adjustment screw as well, in order to get consistency. You are correct in trying a commercial load and then match the velocities. I personally think that 1.5 gr will beat the stuffings out of the HP eventually. "Doc"
