Beijing World Cup

Post by David Levene »

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Daryl Szarenski's 1st place in the 50m Pistol at the Beijing World Cup.

564 + 98.1 = 662.1, a 5.7 lead over 2nd place.

I see USA also took 1st & 3rd in the 50m Prone.

Looking at the FP qualification, there are several Mqs at the bottom. What does that mean? Did they get disqualified?

No, they have a separate 'competition' where the shooters can only shoot to obtain the olympics minimum qualifying score. It's useful for nations fielding lots of shooters as they are limited (to 3 shooters ?) on the 'real' competition.

And David, yep I just spotted that as well. Daryl seems to be on a roll at the moment !

He has mentally reached the next level. I have shot with Daryl and he is a good guy. I am glad to see him doing well.
