Morini 162EI

I've had my 162 EI for approx. 6 years although it has seen very little use the past 4 or 5. Reading the manual Morini suggests changing the "o" rings and seals every 2 - 3 years. They also recommend against any lubrication of any kind.
I was wondering if everyone follows the factory recommendations or...?
Thanks!

If yr a serieus match shooter, I would seriously consider changing seals prematurely to prevent problems. Even not being in use, seals age.
I'm not a serieus match shooter, just a hobby shot, also I own several other matchpistols I can shoot, so I just wait till it starts leaking or revise after about 10/15yrs or so..;) My Steyr LP5 still has its original seals. Its from 1996;) It will be revised in the near future though. My early 90's morini 162 has just been revised cause it started leaking.
Wrong lubricant used with CO2 or compressed air can be dangerous or can cause seals to leak.

JLK:
I lubricate my match airpistols with Feinwerkbau special grease, as this is specifically made for high pressure areas.
I find the green o-ring seals tougher and last longer than the normal black o-rings, and I often put a small dab of grease when i see it too dry.
I have a FWB P34 that I haven't shot in a while, (about ten years...) and it still holds air!
