FWB100 Maintenance

Just recieved a nice FWB100 recently. I don't think it has been serviced since new, and the internals look pretty dry so I put a bit of Mac-1 Secret Sauce on the pivots and piston/tube. Besides a little oiling is there anything else that needs special attention on these guns before shooting / dry-firing away? or are they as bullet-proof as the rest of Feinwerkbau's guns?

Also, do these share the same front sight inserts as the FWB65/80's and the C2/10/20's? I'd like to get some different (larger) ones for this pistol but the 100's seem rather uncommon... if they shared the same part with the 65's it would make it much easier.

I have the LP65 and the LP100, and the front sight inserts are exactly the same. Even the tiny screws are the same...

just in case you're looking for a source: http://www.stelljes.de/shop/2/waffenzub ... hselkorne/

shouldn't be too expensive to ship internationally, given the size and weight...

I think the manual gives cleaning advice.

They recommend to use the Feinwerkbau special grease for lubricating the linkages. It does not react under high pressures like standard lubrication will.

The 103 manual gives better information on cleaning and lubrication.
