If you need/fancy a NEW grip on your LP10 there is no need for a RINK anymore. I did find a grip with more measure parameters and a better price here

I might be wrong but something in the back of my brain tells me that these are actually made by Ciro, the old Morini grip maker.
As I said, I might be wrong.

Yes, it's Ciro.

Looks good, but the proof will always be the target, not the design. Seems a mighty small product palette, IMHO, to make a living. And no signs of the "E"-model - Steyr probably didn't tell Maennel about it... Some strange arguments, though - 7mm deeper? What good is that, if the overall angle is not looked at? Everybody who's done a grip on a Steyr knows that the only limit in that direction is the thumb lifting the rearsight by it's adjusting screw...

Is this good news or bad news?
I have a feeling of reading something about that at least one of the persons behind the firm has a been on the Steyr company earlier?

I have seen some of Ciro's custom made grips and was very impressed with the way they fitted the users.

Ciro previous was at Morini.
Works well, but imho it's a different world working from a recorded measure and working with "the hand in hand".
Price seems to me comparable with Rink.

Carlo Maennel was with Steyr, and from what one hears, the separation was not exactly on friendly terms, but they're not sworn enemies either. He is trying to sell some other Steyr-related stuff, too (e.g. compensator and weights for LP10), with more or less success. In the VISIER review of the Maennel modified LP10, the original came out far better... Apparently Maennel recruited Ciro to do the pistol grip work; somebody told me that Ciro actually works from the shop (or at least in the same building) as Bersagliomobile, which may or may not be a good sign... Seeing how long it took Thomas Rink to get really in the market, and how many different grips he is selling, I very much doubt that one can make a living on some LP10 grips alone. And regarding Maennel - the last few times I've seen his roadshow, he was trying very hard to sell rifle stuff, not pistol stuff - could it be that there is more money to be made that way?

Ciro went away from Bersagliomobile few month ago, and again the separation was not exactly on friendly terms.

Just saw that Maennel is now also selling LP2 and Walther LP300XT but without mentioning the pistol type !? Strange way to do business.
Besides the standard grips, there are also custom grips.

As the French use to say: "cherchez la femme!". The reasons why he is interested in rifle stuff are also personal.
