I am still wondering if Jin regrind his thumb rest or not.

Is that large thumb rest part of the new LP10E grip, or did he regrind the thumb rest and re-stippled the area?

For those of you who have the new LP10E, does Jin's thumb rest look like that of your?

I saw an LP10E this weekend and it hat the same thumb rest.

i found out i shoot with my thumb in the same style as JIN i have reground my Hammerli grip so now my thumb is bent downwards nearly touching my middle finger i tried to persevere with the thumb inline but couldnt get away with it, i found my thumb stuck out and severed no purpose has anyone else tried this way of gripping their pistol.

What is pictured is an unchanged grip. The thumb groove/ledge is angled directly toward the center of the trigger area.

Are you referring to the trigger position adjustment locking screws?

I do not know who makes the grip.

There is no switch in the thumb rest area. The on/off switch is at the very bottom of the retangular plate that is on the thumb side of the grip. If the shroud is silver the plate is also silver. If the shroud is black the plate is also black. It has two set screws to hold the plate/battery cover in place and a rectangular cut out at the bottom of the plate where the on/off switch is located along with an led to tell you when turning on the switch that power exists.

As far as I am aware, Steyr used to have a contract with Morini to make all of their grips. However that may have changed for the LP10E. My LP10E only has the Sportwaffen badge on the grip so cannot tell.

Since last year, Steyr doesn't use Morini grip anymore on the LP10, tit seems that he grip is coming from a Spanish supplier.
