I was tired of adjusting my trigger shoe position.

I took my trigger shoe off, and shot with just the trigger stick.

It was a bit strange feeling on the finger, but I actually shot close to my personal best.

Does any one have similar experience?

Any one shoots with very small trigger shoe? Does it decrease finger pushing
laterally?

What set up of trigger do you have with the post, and are you talking about a sport pistol or air pistol or otherwise?

Free pistols can support various trigger shoe arrangements, as the trigger weight is generally very light. The Drulov Mod75 has a button.

If you could post an image of your trigger stick set up we can see what you are doing?

Mostly likely, what it did was force your focus onto your trigger finger and your trigger pull.

If you did it long enough without the pad, your brain would eventually start to do the same things you were doing when you had your trigger pad on.

I've discovered that 'gimmicks' tend to trick us in that way. Another example might be doing something different with your front sight... different color, putting a dot on it, etc. For a while, it's different and you focus more on what's different, which is the idea! But eventually the novelty wears off and your old habits will take over.

I agree with Oz.

The trigger shoe on the LP10 is an excellent shape, and the stick is a mechanically useful way of allowing for lateral adjustment of the trigger.

If the stick is in a good position, I suggest adjusting the trigger shoe further back to that position for your finger.

I have used an LP10 for over a year, and U have adjusted the trigger shoe quite a few times. Given it's imperative to have the trigger in the right position, it is best to persist in adjusting it until you are certain you have exactly the right position for the release of the shot.
