Airgun club on south coast

Post by lord gnome »

Hi,

I currently shoot target air pistol at Blackburn in the North West of England but I am planning to move to the south coast shortly, possibly near Eastbourne, Hastings, Bognor, Chichester or Portsmouth.

I am looking for a good competitive minded club with a well equiped 10 Mtr range that I could join.

If any members out there shoot in this area perhaps they could contact me.

Thanks.

You might get more luck if you post on a UK based site like the Stirton Forum.

Have you tried looking at the Club Finder page on the NSRA site.

Blimey, that's a fair old West-East stretch you've specified. You shouldn't have to travel too far, Hampshire and Sussex are fairly well off for clubs.

As David says, NSRA Club Finder.
Of particular note, at the far western end of your envelope, I believe Fareham and Havant have good air facilities.

Also, Aldingbourne and Southwick seem to do air, a bit more in your area. Can't speak for the facilities though, having not visited them. There are several other clubs, but as all they have provided the NSRA with is an e-mail addy, you'd have to approcach them to find out what facilities/disciplines they provide. There is also a dedicated air club at Ford and also Taylors Air club.
