Question for Aussie Shooters

I see that a part of Pistol Australia National Championships is competition in Service Pistol.
What is considered a Service Pistol for this competition? What is the course of fire? Is the service pistol a firearm used by your military or police?

in short:
* 9 - 9.65mm calibre
* min trigger 1360g (3 lbs)
* must fit in ISSF 25m box
* min Power Factor 120 000
* pistol not chambered for wadcutters
Both PA Service (a holster event) and PA Service Unrestricted (start from the 45 degree 'ready position') events are civilianised vesions of the 90-shot Police and Services event.
The Unrestricted event allows calibre 7.62 - 9.65mm, no PF, no restriction on chamber

Info on course of fire here.
http://www.pistol.org.au/Comps/PAMatches.php
Typically people use 0.38 revolvers for the restricted class with some 9mms.
Often you'lll see high end .32 autos, eg GSPs, for the unrestricted events - adapated to take 6 rounds though.
IIRC You're allowed one speedloader or spare mag, after that you're reloading from loose rounds.
With an auto its tricky, as you need to holster it, with the action open, while you reload the mag. Rounds must be 'loose' ie no belt loops.
I'm not too sure about the above though, I've only had it second hand.
For seven yard stage shooting is below the shoulders, ie unsighted.

Thanks Spencer and JamesHx. The flavour of this event is reminiscent of PPC and NRA Bianchi Cup competitions in the US. But in contrast to the US service pistol competitions which require our current Armed Forces M9 (Beretta in 9 mm) or the formerly military side arm, the 1911 in 45 ACP, both with a 4.0 lb minimum weight trigger.

Ignore this bit from James Hx - it is a mish-mash that relates to the PA 25 Yards Service Pistol event in which the shooter must load from ammunition carried in a pocket.
In the 90-shot Service and Service Unrestricted events you can load as many magazines or speedloaders as you like once you are in preparation time.
