Hey Everyone, I am checking in to see if there might be any adult smallbore or precision air rifle teams/groups/clubs active in Northern Virginia or somewhere nearby. I am 25 and only started shooting at the local Izaak Walton in April and continue to shoot AR there twice a week. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate them letting me shoot and train there with them. However, it is primarily a junior program to teach new shooters and I try my best not to interfere with the coaches teaching the juniors. I was lucky enough to have a training session with the Raab's a few weeks ago, and it made me think that I might get a lot out of being able to shoot with more people my age, that have had more experience that I can learn from. If only I had known about the junior teams a few years ago.....oh well. I've seen multiple names come up fairly often in match results that are listed as being from this area, and I was curious as to whether or not those people might a) be on this board, and/or b) know of a time and place that others like me meet up to shoot.

If there isn't anything like this already in place, I guess the next question would be if there are people that would like to join an adult team. I wouldn't mind putting in the leg work to form one, as long as there will be enough participants to support it.
