simple scoring question

How exactly are 10m air pistol targets scored? I finally took the time and shot a 60 shot match by myself, and want to score the targets correctly. Is it like bullseye where if the hole breaks the higher ring it counts as the higher hit? Or does the pellet have to be completely within the higher ring?

To put it very simply, if the hole (enlarged to 4.5mm diameter) just touches the higher scoring ring then you get the higher score.

Unfortunately it's not as simple as that because, for shots close to the line, you need to use special scoring gauges.

You should really study rules 6.3.2.8.6, 6.3.2.8.6.1, 6.3.2.8.4 and 6.3.2.8.4.2 of the ISSF Rules

fractions , 10.1 to 10.9 r only used in finals. Finals come after the 60 shot match. In the 60 shot match you can only score 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9or 10. My simple answer to a simple question. I should sign this "THE MASTER OF THE 9.9"
