Pardini .32 Front sight

I have recently acquired a .32 Pardini that had a Red Dot sight mounted and the front sight was in a bag.
I installed the front sight and there are two issues:
1. The sight does fit the dove-tail but extends about 1/2 inch beyond the muzzle
2. The front sight is WAY too tall and the rear sight does not have enough adjustment to raise the point of impact to the target center.
I am not all that concerned about the extension, however I guess I will have to cut some metal from the top of the front sight.
All that said, does anyone have a supernumerary front sight for a .32 Pardini around for sale? Or any other comments on the situation??
