Hi Shooters, will there be any accuracy change by using a full lenght cylinder on the short 162. The cylinder will extend beyon the compensator by about 1.5 inches.

Can the compensator be moved forward any to offset the longer cylinder??

Has anyone tried this?

It will not change the accuracy, you will still have the same barrel and the same sights but it will change the balance to nose heavy. The balance change may give you a group improvement or it could make it worse, depends on your hold and trigger control.
If I remember correctly the compensator on the pistol should already be at full forward position.

I'm not sure I would move the compensator, I think the distance to the end of the barrel is important to maintaining accuracy (I saw an article somewhere on the internet about this). I would guess that you'd lose a lot more accuracy by moving the compensator than installing the cylinder.

I did it the other way around at one point. I had a FWB P34, and used the P34 short cylinders....big improvement in balance for me. I then bought a P34 short, but the best balance was with the long gun, and short cylinder.
