Hi folks,

I`m wondering how people feel about the vertical rectitude of the sight picture. Do you insist on having the gun straight or are you willing to accept some slant in the interests of natural alignment. I ask this, because I am beginning to suspect that I would have a more stable wrist with a little slant. On the other hand, I hesitate to go down this path, because it has got to be easier to recognize a good sight picture (especially while actually concentrating on alignment) with a gun at ninety degrees to horizontal edge of the target.

Best Regards,

Gordon

Over the years I have known many extremely good shooters who shoot with a cant. There is nothing wrong with cant, although it is preferable for it to be consistent.
