Does anyone know the difference between the Old and New style pressure gauges on the 162 EI cylinders?
Thanks, John

All I can say is that old were kind of cheap, inaccurate. New are actualy useable, accurate and looks like much better quality.

IMHO the needles on the old style gauges might as well have been painted on. In fact, if my ones are anything to go by, they are. I have never seen them move, but admittedly have never taken them low enough for the lock-out catch to operate.
My new style gauges seem to be quite accurate, matching the readings from the gauges on my tanks.

How can I tell if I have the new or old style?

The old ones have a grooved edge, the new ones are smooth.
The old ones are 16mm long, the new ones are 12mm.
