Yep.....congratulations to Katerina!
Now, wouldn't it be great if her husband Matthew could follow up with a gold also!

Not at all sure about the "Correct breeding" aspect of it?!
However their children will certainly have it made as it were if that is indeed what he or she wishes to pursue.

Still eagerly awaiting to see how Matt fairs out in the competition.

I just think its wonderful that Katy has got the gold and i guess Matt has helped her. Its not often you get a husband & wife both in the same sport and both in the Olympics together.
They should be the stars of the show and i hope the media sees this.

We all have our fingers crossed for Matt.
Was Katy using an Anschutz?

Yep....it was an Anshutz.
You'd think that there would be more media attention given in some respects but I've not heard a thing other than her winning a gold and mention of her husbands name. Now if Matt manages to pull off a gold and I don't hear more about them in the States I'll be very disappointed.

By the way, you can watch all of the events here: http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/index. ... eload=true

Can you imagine the rumbling that might be happening in INS.
WHO got in the way of a possible US GOLD????

Maybe this might help get someone to pay attention to getting Katarina's paperwork approved. It would be nice to have her shooting for the US in 2012.

Actually she is nothing special to the INS nor should she be as it would not be fair to all the others. I speak from personal experience with a very special girl to me. It takes a very long time to get through all the bureaucratic mess that the government has implemented since 9/11.

Unfair to the well intended legitimate foreign people who wish to become citizens here? Yes, by all means but, should she be given special consideration? Absolutely not.
