Well its still on their website http://jga.anschuetz-sport.com/index.ph ... &sprache=1

I take it you were told this by some type of dealer?

I suggest you email them directly and get the truth rather than rely on third party opinions http://jga.anschuetz-sport.com/index.ph ... &sprache=1

Let us know there reply. Remember it is summer and lots of Germany companies basically shutdown for long periods in the summer, so you might not get a reply right away.

I was told that the entire Anschutz LP@ series is discontinued. Anschutz will return to strictly Smallbore Rifles and Pistols, and Air Rifle sales. I am sure there are still unsold samples at dealers waiting for good homes. The reason it is still on the web is the same reason that there is a lot of old information on the internet...

What says our host, who would have the most informed word?

Anschutz confirmed the discontinuation of LP@-light, but mentioned nothing about the standard LP@.

That's a pity because there is no Steyr equivalent for it. Also other brands light pistols are heavier and/or less sophisticated. My wife will soon own a collector !

The normal LP@ is a real clone of the LP10, nothing essential lost if it is discontinued.

Was talking on the phone yesterday in Aussie to the local Stye agent. It's true 'but' later in the year the same Air pistol will come out with Stery badge on the the pistol. That's the short story. It's all about numbers.

The Steyr LP2 compact is still available and an excellent junior / light weight pistol.

The only compromise on this model, in my view, is that the rearsight blade width cannot be adjusted although two widths to select from using the reversible blade.
