Just wondering if anybody is using or has tried Hodgdon Titegroup in .38 Special or .45 ACP. I have used Bullseye for a long time and was thinking about trying some loads with Titegroup and lead bullets. Anybody have a good load?

Yes. I use titegroup in reloading .45 for bullseye. 4.4 g with a 180g Lasercast bullet works very well in my gun but I have a very stiff spring. I would not use titegroup for .38 or 9mm, it is a hot powder. For 9mm hardball I use VV N340 4.8g with a 115g Sierra match grade FMJ bullet. Less kick and still accurate.

I tried Titegroup with 5&6" bbl-45acp.Using 4.0-4.2grs -200 to 215g LSWC the groups were OK. I found Clays, S1000 , WST and N310 to be better in terms of accuracy and less residue.
