I am a left handler shooter and I am working for upgrade my rifle (Daisy 853)... I receive offers form people who sales his Anschutz 2002 rifle without sigths for $1,000 or more.... I see in some web store the new Anschutz 8002 for $1,550 w/sigths and $1,250 dollars w/o sights. I dont if the 2002 its better or if the 8002 have some substancial improvments over the 2002...The only advantage than I see on the 2002 its that come for left handlers and the 8002 is ambidextrous... I want the opinion of the forum...Sorry for my english...

Just so you know, the 8002 is also available in a real left-handed version.

The 8002 is in fact a perfect left hand: you can mount the cocking lever on both sides.
It is difficult to compare the 2002 and 8002 because the 8002 is a complete new design, very close to the 9003. Most gunsmiths do not like the 2002 finding it extremely complicated.
The 8002 can also be equiped with an absorber (it is the Steyr absorber that Anschutz adapted on their rifles). This absorber is factory installed on the 9003 and can be mounted on the 8002 (by the rifle owner himself, the rifle is prepared for it), it costs about 150Euros.

It has to be the 8002, for the reasons pointed out in the last post.
There are world class shooters using the 8002 and many with out the stabiliser!
