Steyr grip interchangeability

Post by Jonathan Williams »

Do all Steyr pistols use the same style grip? Are LP-1/5 grips the same as LP-10/50? Thanks.

LP-1/2 question

More specifically will the grips interchange between a LP-1 and a LP-2?

The LP1, LP2 ,LP10 and Anschutz LP@ grips are interchangeable.

But their external shape is not identical and has also changed during the time, i.e. the one of current LP10 is slightly different than the one of of 4-5 years ago that is different of the one of the first models.

The grip of these pistols is not interchangeable with the one of of the 5 shots LP5 and LP50.

My LP10 came with a LP5 grip and a plastic "washer" to fill up the space. So, in a way, any LP5 grip can be mounted on a LP1/10. The other way round, only after a extended Dremel session...
