Pardini K60 Help

I just purchased a Pardini K60 and the associated CO2 tank. Having never had a CO2 gun before the process of getting it filled is new to me. I read that the cylinders should be cooled before filling either by putting them in the freezer or letting ouot some CO2.
The pistol cylinders have some markings that I am interpreting. g211 I'm guessing is the empty weight of the cylinder and g53 I'm guessing is the capacity of the cylinder. This should put the filled weight at 264g. Is this correct?
When filling the cylinder, how long should it take to get to capacity, or how do I know I'm there? After leaving the cylinder on the tnk for about a minute I remove it and weigh it and get only about 243g total. Should I be getting more in the cylinder?
My large tank has an outlet that when I connect the cylinder, it is horizontal. this does not seem to fill the cylinder at all. I have a small 16oz paintball tank that I use upside down and that that gets the 243g into the cylinder.
All tips greatly appreciate...
Thanks - Jim
btw the gun shoots great... :)
