22 year old son is getting out of army in June. Wants to shoot small bore competition. His Christmas present, not bought yet is an Anschutz. Need, a coach, in the Rocky Mountain area or at Camp Perry in July or both, any other equipment recommendations including which model of Anschutz, He wants to do primarily position shooting to start, and shoot on our club team for the University of Wyoming. I know very little about rifle, more about Bullseye pistol. He has really enjoyed what little shooting he has been able to do in the army and did archery as a kid. Looking for any and all recommendations. Isabel

There are alot of factors that can come into play when selecting equipment. One of the first items is to consider how much you really want to spend.

Another factor is how serious he is in competing or is he just happy w/ casual matches, etc.

I don't intend to pry, however it would save alot of time, effort and confusion if we had a little more information as a baseline.
