MG 2 maloperation - why does the MG2 guns jam so frequently?

May I ask the troubled MG2 users to describe how (why) their guns jam?
To get an impression of where the designfailures of the MG2 are hidden.

Could you tell us how your gun is jamming, so we can offer some suggestions to you as what may be wrong.

From what I've seen the Bullet Insert Lever seems to be a common trouble area, along with the extractor.

Let us know which generation your pistol would also help the people on here help you.
