I hear of people using duct seal in there pellet traps.

Is it or a similar product available in NZ? If so do you know of a supplier?

Thanks
Paul

Try asking for plumbers putty, it is the stuff they use to seal around the bottom of toilets, the benefit is it nevers goes hard so you can keep moulding it.

Any plumbers supply store should have it.

Hi Paul,

I could not find the duct seal product here in NZ and ended up using a plastacine product from a modeling store (it came in 3 grades soft, medium, hard) I used the hard grade and put a tray filled with it in the back of my pellet trap. Every so often I have to dig some of the pellets & clay out and top it up, but its quite workable. The store that sold it (I think) was
