Anysight match - scope suggestions...

I've shot smallbore for a long while always using peep sights.

There is a local "anysight" prone match (50 m and 100M) next weekend and I would like to scope my anschutz.

I have used weaver scopes and like them but I'm not sure what power to hang on my rifle?

I can get a 4-16X for around $300, or a fixed 24X dot for $350.

I do have a good hold and score in the mid 90s most matches, but I'm wondering if the 24X would be too much.

What do the Cmp Perry guys use?

With iron sights I shoot 375-380 prone on 3p outdoor targets for 50m. I just started shooting scope and use an 8-24 power scope and shoot 24x easily and will shoot high 190's for the same targets
