Hey,

Steyr showed a new trigger for their LP10 at IWA. This new trigger is equiped with ball bearings and is supposed to have much less friction than the previous one. All this according to a Swedish shooting magazine. Anyone here that can confirm this? Or have any other comments?

Someone said that the existing LP10s will be upgradeable to ball-bearing triggers by smiths?

From the photo it does not look "drop in" and will probably be pricey to upgrade, if at all possible : /

I saw the new LP10 and as also can be seen on the picture, the axle above the trigger is now different what also means a change in the frame of the pistol (at least at that place and may be also some internal changes).

So I do not think that it is easy to upgrade.

When dry firing the LP10, the difference with the previous model is not obvious !

Do you meen, that an upgrade with the new trigger / purchase of the new LP 10 is not worth or do you meen there is no difference in dry fireing?

I think the steyr lp10 is a real good weapon, but the trigger is a weak point.

I am still search for the perfect trigger, that shold be that very time the weight of the first and second stage is constant. And constant had to be constant.

The only thing I see different from the current LP10 to this newer one is the trigger. Not sure if it would be worth the expense to upgrade. The change from LP1 to LP10 was a big jump. This looks like one minor change. I am sure the trigger feels really nice.

I guess it would be up to the person who wants to upgrade if it is worth it.

From what I see from the outside of the pistol, only the mounting of the axle is different, the rest of the trigger seems the same as the one of the previous model.
