Morini 162E
I am considering purchaing a Morini 162E but have been told this is an older model. Is it worth it to save a bit longer and opt for a newer version ?

If the condition is good and the price is right, go for it. In terms of actual "shootibility" the 162e is essentially the same as the 162ei - the sights, balance, trigger feel are all identical. The difference relates to not having an interchangeable cylinder, the electronics operate at a different voltage, a slightly more advanced compensator and a different finish on the barrel. I purchased my 163e in a near-new condition (which came with a small 3-litre compressed air tank as part of the deal) for less than half the price of a new 162ei. It is certainly a good enough AP to take you to the top. I have thought about upgrading on occasions, but I shoot fine with the 162e (PB of 571 in competition) and can't really justify the expense.
