Anschutz 4766 Hook Buttplate

I have the Ans 4765 hook buttplate, but I like the 4766 buttplate more then the one that I have so my question is can I put a 4766 buttplate on a 2013 Alu stock? If not the how would I go about putting one on?

Am i missing something here? Surely the are the same buttplate, except that one is for wooden stock and one is for the 2213/2313 ALU stock, its only the carrier thats different.
Unless there has been some other change that I've missed??

I just want to know if it will fit, I don't have access to the 4766 buttplate so I can't see if it will fit.

That isn't a 4766, AFAIK its a 4760, but in answer to your question it will fit, although its really for the wooden stock, you will just screw the carrier diect to your square plate on the ALU stock.

Thanks for the help. As for the 4766 I was gooing by what Neal Johnson had on his website I didn't know the number and Ans does not have it listed on there website. Also way is it more for the wood stocks?

When that buttplate was made, there were no ALU stocks, so thr carrier was shaped for wood. (AFAIK)
But you will be able to mount the plate on your ALU buttplate carrier

They do interchange. I have one of each and have swapped them around. You need to be sure to get one with the base plate.
