Anschutz Aluminium stock

I have recently purchased an Anschutz aluminium stock and fitted my round action onto it. The king screws have been torqued to 6nm as recomended by Anschutz.
Can anybody advise me if these stocks need to be regularly checked for the correct torque settings?

Bob,
I have just got a 2213 stock and it seems fine over the 3 weeks that I have had it. I would say treat the 6Nm as a recommendation only. On the test bench I found one batch of Tenex grouped well at 3.5Nm but another batch only went well at 6.5Nm. So as usual, it really depends on the barrel and on the ammuniton/batch.

+1 for that advice. I have to do a full set of tests starting at 4nm up to 7nm in 0.5nm increments when I buy a new batch of ammo.

You need to check torque every time you shoot a match. Temperature, humidity and other factors enter into the settings. It is no problem to lossen and retighten. That way you are sure you are getting the correct setting based upon your tests. I used to work for an aluminum mfg. and believe me aluminum does expand and contract based upon temperature.
