I just bought myself secondhand anschutz lp@ airpistol.
Near the top of the breech/receiver there are two hole which air is out when I shoot the pistol, is this normal ?

what is the fps if all the seals not leaking air ?
just to make me more confidence with the pistol.

thanks in advance

If these 2 holes have grubscrews down inside them, they are the barrel retaining/ adjustment screws. They are directly above the LP@ symbol.
There should be a screw in each hole.
Are you sure the air is coming from these holes, or slightly behind at the very rear of the barrel? (Or both?)

Rest assured that you can have confidence in the LP@. I have had nothing but joy out of mine since I purchased it two years ago. It's a delightful gun and an elegant piece of engineering. Excellent choice.

Did you isolate where the leak was coming from?

The reciever is basically the same as a Styer LP10 , a very well proven platform . Re-sealing shouldn't be a problem .

There shouldn't be ANY leakage of air from those two holes, or indeed from the breech area. If air is definitely escaping from one of the holes, the grubscrew is missing. A good engineer's supply shop should be able to sell you a replacement. If air is escaping from the breech, the 'o'-ring inside the sliding breech and/or the transfer port 'o'-ring (the bigger one you can see when the breech is open) need renewal. Contact our sponsor Pilkguns - they should be able to help you.

I chronied my LP@ at my local pistol club, and got an average of around 520fps with Gamo Match pellets (7.5gr), in warm temperatures. I've had mine now for 6 months, and together we just took a silver medal at the South Pacific Masters Games! These are superb airpistols!
