Found this somewhere in my recent researches, but only saved as a .doc so I can't credit it. Kinda have to read it backwards.

602 Almost the same as the 603 but the recoil eliminator on the 603, everything else is the same.

601 The action for the 602 was updated - with a slight recoil as a result. The 601 doesn't have that recoil, no dry-firing mechanism and a slightly thinner pistol grip.

600 The original from the 80's. It is the same idea as the rest and they have the same great accuracy. Same as the 601, but it doesn't have a security latch for the lever - so it might come back at you if you slip while loading.( It is easy to install the security latch)

So: 600-original
601 plus cocking rachet
602 plus dry-fire, but added some recoil (?or all 600, 601, 602?)
603 plus recoil eliminator

FWB 600 - 603

Post by ADC59 »

Tony:

I've owned a FWB 600 and C62 (CO2 version of the 602) and would like to add a couple of items to what defblade had to say.

The FWB 602 had a new, greatly improved, rear sight and a 22mm front sight, whereas the FWB 600 had a 18mm front sight.

Adjustment of the cheekpiece and pull length was greatly improved from the FWB 600 to the 602. Removing the cheekpiece mechanism for adjustment on the FWB 600 required removing a long screw, while removing the cheekpiece on the FWB 602 was controlled with a hex screw. Changing the pull length on the FWB 600 required spacers, while while pull length adjustment of the FWB 602 just required loosening hex screw (s) and pulling/pushing the buttplate out/in

Hello,

I own a FWB 600 and C60. Love both rifles. Either are better made and seems more durable than the FWB P700 that I used to have. Here is my personal opinion

I have two questions

Does anyone knows how faster the FWB 602 is shooting?

Does anyone know how often the recoil eliminator on the FWB 603 needs to be service? I heard that the recoil eliminator in the Anschutz 8002 never need service is because it is all mechanical and completely sealed.
