208 211 215 - So many Hammerlis, so little time

I'm hankering to pick up a Hammerli 211. Just cant seem to resist these old Swiss classics.
Can anyone provide a quick and dirty comparison of this model to the 208 and 215??
What would you all consider a good price for one in 98 percent condition.

Did you notice there's a 211 listed on gunbroker.com:

According to the ad, the 211 is the same as the 208, except it does not have adjustable grips. Can someone confirm this?

Hey Paul,
If the only difference between the 211 and the 208 is the lack of adjustable grips, then all you need is a set of non-adjustable grips. Take pictures of your 208 with both sets of grips, and voila, you have both guns at a huge savings. You could mount one or the other grips, and then be able to say "Today I am shooting my Hammerli 211 (or 208, as the case may be)." Also would take up less room in your gun safe.

I thought the 211 had a slightly shorter barrel and a weird trigger safety. I can't find my older Hammerli literature to verify my statement. Also, I dont think that "211" advertised above is a 211. Maybe a 208 or a 215. I always thought the 211 was the field version of the 208 with fixed sights, but built to the same precision and finish.
