I like wood or laminate stock like these:

I can't figure out why there's such big price difference between two? Verein (Club) model includes diopter and still is 30% cheaper than laminate stock rifle without diopter. Why? Does Club version have worser barrel or other bad points?

I thought the Club model did not have the recoil/vibration reduction unit in it.

Could be wrong on that.

The only other difference I can see from Anschutz's catalog is that the Club model has the 4758 But Plate and the Laminate model has the 4759 with a couple more adjustments on it. The laminat stock is a little heavier than the wood.

Club model weighs 3.7 Kg and the Laminate weighs 4.3 Kg. The club model stock looks to be cut more like the Junior stock with the slanted 1907 style fore end. The Laminate stock has a flater profile to it.

Here they are saying that the difference is only the stock and adjustments.

Keep in mind that the club version is ambedextrious, it can be used by both left and right handed shooters. The normal 8002 is left or right. So, the normal (non-club) model will probably have a better feel in the grip and cheekpiece. I would guess the club is also a smaller stock.
