Dear fellows,

I'd like some opinions about thumb in air pistol shooting. What does work better for you in terms of ...
... position: along side the grip? pointing up? pointing down?
... pression: no pression at all? slight pression? up, down, laterally?

Thanks in advance for any help.

My understanding is that the thumb itself should just rest on the thumb shelf and not apply pressure. The exception to that being the web between thumb and first finger. I am seeing my grip expert next week and one of the apsects I want adjusted is the thumb pressure so I'll let you know what he says.
