For what it's worth, I conducted a brief ammunition test with the new Pardini SP1 RF (electronic). I would expect the old SPs to be about the same. I fired 5 rounds each using a few brands. Results below.

With the new RF testing, minimum official velocity is 250 m/sec = 820.2 ft/sec. Essentially, 1 of 3 tested rounds must meet the standard or the shooter is disqualified. Minimum projectile weight is 39 grains.

Tests @ sea level, 71 deg F. All brands are 40gr projectiles.

Interesting stats.
Only three bullets failed to make the 820 fps mark which is good. Not so good though that two out of five were from the same batch of CCI. Obviously some more testing is required to sort out which brands are most likely to have you fail.
