RWS Ammo - Target vs Target Rifle?

Post by Mike McDaniel »

OK, I'm considering buying some more fodder for my Hammerlis. I'm used to shooting RWS Target, but it seems to be out of production. What is available is this RWS "Target Rifle" ammunition. Is this the same ammo, or something different? Buy it, or try something else? Thanks.

Mike I have used both and find no difference in reliability with either one in my Hammerli 208. My guess is that the accuracy difference is probably pretty negligible - at least at my level. Hammerli's seem to eat just about anything.

I was told it was the exact same ammo, just a different label.

If you can find it, try the RWS super 250 - its a lower velocity ammo that works fairly well in most guns from what I've heard.

Does anyone know who's selling the RWS Super 250 in the U.S.?
