Can you mount p70 sights on a p70 field target?

I'll try to help you out. If your rifle has the dovetail groove on the receiver and the dovetail groove at the muzzle you should be able to use the diopter sights . Maybe somebody else will chime in that knows these rifles.

IT DOES HAVE THE GROOVES ON THE REAR BUT THE BARREL MUZZEL IS SMOOTH.
